This article explains how Archive handles content published by your own brand accounts and how you can capture it if you want to.
Default Behavior
By default, Archive does not automatically capture content published by your own brand accounts. This is because content you post yourself isn't user-generated content, including it would skew your UGC and engagement metrics. This keeps your metrics and content collections focused on authentic user-generated content (UGC).
Tracking Your Own Account
If you want Archive to capture content from your own brand account, add it as a Social Profile, the same way you add any creator, including as a hashtag or mention source. The fastest way is Quick Add:
Go to Social Profiles in your Archive workspace.
Click Quick Add.
Enter your brand's Instagram or TikTok handle.
Choose All Content — Archive captures every post from that account.
Confirm to start tracking.
Once added, your own account is tracked exactly like any other creator on Social Profiles, there's no separate "own brand" filter or flag.
Note: Stories are handled separately. Instagram Stories from your own account are pulled through a daily batch (around 23:30–23:40 UTC) rather than the near-real-time feed and reels pull, and are subject to the standard 24-hour Stories expiry. TikTok Stories from your own account are captured the same way, via webhook, when the account is added as a Social Profile.
Exception: Hashtag Tracking
If you are already tracking a hashtag that your brand also uses, content posted by your own account with that hashtag is captured automatically through the hashtag search, no extra setup needed. Hashtag tracking works independently of Social Profiles and is available for Instagram and TikTok (YouTube hashtag tracking works differently, see YouTube Content Tracking in Archive). You can add hashtags directly from Settings > Sources. For more details, see Tracking Content with Hashtags.
Hashtag tracking only captures posts that use the tracked hashtag. If you want 100% coverage of everything your brand publishes, add your brand account as a Social Profile as well (see Tracking Your Own Account above). Hashtag tracking + Social Profile tracking together give you full coverage.

Heads-up: Any content Archive captures from your own brand account counts toward your UGC limit, whether it's captured via Social Profile tracking, hashtag tracking, or manually uploaded (manual uploads land in the same content feed and count the same way). This is a combined count; self-authored content isn't broken out separately from creator content.
