Archive automatically detects user-generated content from Instagram and TikTok. The way we detect each content type varies slightly to keep your library as relevant as possible; here’s what you need to know:

  • Instagram Stories: If your brand account is @mentioned in an Instagram Story, we will track them for you.

  • Instagram Feed Posts: We’ll detect single images, videos, and carousels when your brand account is tagged with an @mention on the post itself or in the caption. Feed Posts that use #hashtags you’re tracking anywhere (including in captions and comments) will also be shown to your library.

  • Instagram Reels: We’ll detect Reels when your brand account is tagged with an @mention on the post itself (but not when you’re tagged in the caption or the comments section).

  • TikTok Videos: If your brand account is @mentioned or includes a hashtag you're tracking in a TikTok video. We can detect 98% of TikTok posts.

Note:

  • The only type of posts we can get from private accounts are stories. As long as your Instagram is connected to Archive, the influencer account mentions your brand in their stories, and you have visibility. To have visibility, you would need to follow their account already. If your IG account has access to it, we will also have.

Unfortunately, we cannot get the other posts because our search method operates outside your account; this process runs independently.

  • For Stories, we can only capture content that your brand gets tagged in. We can't capture if you're tagging your creators. Example:
