📋 Import timing: Manually imported content (via UGC link) typically appears in your workspace within 5 minutes. If it has not appeared after 15 minutes, try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, contact support.
Archive is the app that automatically detects and saves Instagram posts tagged by your brand, not just feed posts but Instagram stories as well. However, there are times when your Social Profile forgets to tag your @mention. In cases like this, you can manually save them to your account.
This feature is not limited to content you're not tagged in. It's also useful whenever Archive misses TikTok content and YouTube content you want to add to your account.
Importing Content From UGC Links
From your Content view, click [...] at the top right and choose Import as... from the list.
Click the UGC link button.
Copy and paste the link to the UGC in the space provided, then click Save. If you have multiple sources, choose the best one that fits the content you're trying to save to your account before clicking Save.
A banner in the upper-right corner will let you know that Archive is collecting the content for you. In a few seconds, you’ll see another banner confirming it’s successfully saved to your account.
Notes:
If your upload doesn't work, please double-check the link you have pasted in the space provided. If the UGC is from a private account, our system won't be able to upload it to your account. Our team can only add the ones from your public profiles.
You can also upload any story highlights added to a creator's IG account through this method.
Uploading content from media also counts towards your UGC monthly limit.
You can upload multiple links through this method. You'll just have to add line breaks.
Instagram
/reel/and/reels/links are treated as the same post — importing both won't create duplicates. The same applies to YouTube:watch?v=,/shorts/, andyoutu.belinks pointing to the same video will be deduped into a single import.After importing, you'll receive a confirmation email telling you whether the post was newly added to your library or was already there. This applies to all UGC imports, including those done through Social Listening without a campaign attached.
If a post you import manually is later picked up by Archive's automated tracking, it will remain tagged as a Manual Import. It won't be cleared from the Manual Imports filter.
Archive can only recognize link formats similar to the following links:
Instagram Stories: IGlink/stories/username/contentID
Instagram Feed Posts: IGlink/p/contentID
Instagram Reels: IGlink/reel/contentID
TikTok Videos: TTlink/@username/video/contentID
YouTube Videos:
YouTube Shorts: When importing a YouTube Short, make sure to use the link generated by the Share button on the video — not the URL from your browser's address bar. You'll find the Share button directly beside the YouTube Short.
