Archive is the app that automatically detects and saves Instagram posts tagged by your brand, not just feed posts, but Instagram stories as well. However, there are times when your Social Profiles send you the raw file of their content. In cases like this, you can manually save them to your account, and you can also associate them with the creator who shared the content with you!

Common Questions
Are we able to manually add metrics to content imported as media?
No, Archive does not currently allow the manual addition of metrics to imported media files. When content is uploaded as a media file (screenshot, image, or video file), Archive stores it as a standalone record that is not connected to the original social post. Because there is no link to the live post, Archive cannot retrieve platform engagement data (views, likes, comments, shares), and EMV cannot be calculated from real metrics for that content. You can only associate imported media with a Social Profile to receive an estimated EMV. Note: this limitation applies regardless of plan — it is a technical constraint of file-based imports, not a plan restriction.
Are we estimating any metrics for content imported as media?
Yes, when a media file is linked to a Social Profile, we estimate its EMV. You can view the EMV by switching to List view.
What if a creator forgot to tag my brand and I have a screenshot of their post — can I still track the engagement?
Uploading a screenshot as media will not pull in engagement metrics, because the file is not linked to the live post. For accurate tracking, use the Import from UGC Link method instead — paste the direct post URL (Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube) and Archive will pull in the live post with its engagement data. If you only have a screenshot and cannot find the original post URL, you can associate the media file with the creator's social profile to get an estimated EMV, but real engagement figures will not be available.
