Archive helps you track influencer marketing and campaigns so you can measure results, adjust your strategy, and share outcomes with stakeholders. This article covers how to create and manage campaigns in Archive.
Campaign Types
When you create a campaign, you choose one of two types:
Creator Monitoring β Monitor a known, explicit list of creators and capture their content. You add the creators yourself, so you always see exactly who is in the campaign. An end date is required. Best for gifted creators, ambassadors, or any known roster β especially when you have no connected sources, or aren't sure a creator will mention your brand when they post.
Brand Monitoring β Capture brand content from your connected sources, then narrow it down by creators, content conditions (AI Filters), and hashtags or mentions. Creators appear automatically from your sources, or you can scope the campaign to a specific list. Can run ongoing (no end date). Best for tracking your brand's UGC in real time across your connected sources.
| Creator Monitoring | Brand Monitoring |
You choose | Which creators to watch | What to capture from your sources, then how to filter it |
Content source | The creators you add | Your connected UGC sources |
Creators | Added manually and explicitly | Appear automatically, or scope to a specific list |
End date | Required (up to 365 days) | Optional β can run Ongoing |
Hashtags / mentions | Narrow which of a creator's posts are saved | Narrow results from your sources (they don't find new content) |
AI-Filter moderation | Yes | Yes |
Historical backfill | Yes | Yes |
Best for | A known creator roster, or when you have no connected sources | Real-time brand UGC across your connected sources |
Legacy Campaigns
If you created campaigns before Brand Monitoring and Creator Monitoring were introduced, you'll find them in a separate Legacy Campaigns table (these were previously called Content Capture campaigns).
You can still edit legacy campaigns, so anything you already set up keeps working.
You can't create new legacy campaigns β every new campaign is created as Brand Monitoring or Creator Monitoring.
Legacy campaigns don't get the new capabilities: no historical backfill and no AI-Filter moderation. Those are exclusive to Brand Monitoring and Creator Monitoring.
You may see Legacy Campaigns alongside your new campaigns for a while. Workspaces created from now on will only have Brand Monitoring and Creator Monitoring. For how the legacy flow works, see the legacy campaign guide.
How to Create a Campaign
Each campaign type has its own section in the Campaigns list. Pick the type you want and follow its step-by-step guide:
Creating a Brand Monitoring Campaign β capture brand content from your connected UGC sources; can run ongoing.
Creating a Creator Monitoring Campaign β follow a specific list of creators (works even with no sources connected); requires an end date.
Adding Creators to a Campaign
Both campaign types support manually adding creators. For Brand Monitoring campaigns, content also appears automatically from your connected sources β but you can still add specific creators directly if needed.
To add creators to a campaign:
Open your campaign.
Click + Add creators.
From there, you have a few options:
Paste handles directly - Use the Quick Add option to paste creator handles one by one or in bulk.
Upload a CSV - Click Import from file, then download the CSV template. Fill it in with creator names and handles, export as a CSV, and drag it into the upload area. Please make sure to use the template.
Add from Creator Search or Social Listening You can bulk-select creators from Creator Search or Social Listening and add them to a campaign directly from those views.
π Note: If you remove a creator from a Creator Monitoring campaign, their content stays in the campaign. You can still manually delete individual posts from the campaign if needed.
Where Your Content Lives
All captured content lives in Social Listening β that's the main feed of everything Archive has collected across your account. Campaigns work as filtered views on top of that: they show only the content that matches that campaign's specific rules.
