Archive allows you to track specific hashtags to collect user-generated content related to your brand. Hashtag tracking is available for Instagram and TikTok. If you no longer need to monitor certain hashtags, you can remove them from your tracking list to keep your content collection focused and relevant.
Removing Hashtags from Your Tracking List
Here's how to remove a hashtag you no longer want to monitor:
In the left nav, click Settings.
Go to the Sources tab, then click the three dots beside the hashtag you want to stop tracking.
Click Remove.
What happens next:
Archive stops collecting new content for that hashtag going forward.
Content already collected through that hashtag stays in your workspace — removing the hashtag does not delete it, and it still counts toward your UGC limits.
You can re-add the hashtag any time. Archive resumes forward collection from that point (an initial pull of up to 30 recent posts, then ongoing detection) — it does not re-scan or restore your history.
Once a hashtag is removed, it also drops off the Source filter list — so while its previously collected content stays in your workspace, you' have to use the Tags filter to see the content.
Note: YouTube hashtag terms are managed by the Archive team and can't be removed from this screen — contact Support to update those.
