Archive automatically detects content you’re tagged in. Your account should be set up correctly to ensure we detect all the story mentions, posts, and reels.
Why are your Instagram stories, posts, and reels not showing up in Archive dashboard?
It might be because your Instagram is not connected to your Facebook page, or because Facebook doesn't have permission to access your Instagram messages.
Setting Up Your Instagram Connection
To fix this, your Instagram account needs to be linked to a Facebook Page, and that Facebook Page needs permission to access your Instagram messages. For the full step-by-step instructions (mobile and desktop), see Instagram Connection Requirements.
Instagram Configuration FAQs
Does Archive also display user-generated content from the past?
No — detection starts when you connect an account or add a source, and content posted before that isn't pulled in automatically.
To bring in earlier content, you can request a historical pull. It's added now and counts toward the current month's UGC limit.
Instagram Stories are an exception in the other direction: they expire after 24 hours and can't be recovered once gone, so Archive can only capture them while they're live.
What's the resolution of the content displayed on the app?
It will be the highest resolution possible after Instagram's own image/video compression.
Will Archive affect my site's loading speed?
No, the app will not affect your site's loading speed.
Is Archive only for Shopify merchants?
No, non-Shopify merchants with an active Professional Instagram Account and a corresponding Facebook page can use Archive.
Can I reconnect Archive via desktop?
Yes, you can reconnect the Instagram account if you are logged into your browser.
Can I connect multiple Instagram accounts to a Facebook page and vice versa?
No, each Instagram account can only be linked to one Facebook page, and each Facebook page can only be connected to one Instagram account.
