If you need to cancel a usage rights or partnership ad code request β€” whether it was sent to the wrong person, linked to the wrong profile, or you simply need to start over β€” you can do it yourself from the Manage Rights page.

Step 1 β€” Remove the existing request

  1. Go to Manage Rights in your left sidebar (under Social Listening).

  2. Find the request you want to cancel.

  3. Hover over the post and click the checkbox to select it.

  4. Click the Remove button in the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen.

Removing a request from Archive does not delete the original message from the creator's Instagram or TikTok DMs. However, it will no longer appear anywhere in your account, and both you and the creator can disregard it. This works even if the creator already approved the request.

Step 2 β€” Send a new request

  1. Find the UGC post in your Content page.

  2. Click Request Usage Rights below the post.

  3. Verify the details in the modal (profile, message, scope) before proceeding.

  4. Select the scope you need (Usage Rights and/or Partnership Ad Code).

  5. Click Send Request.

The creator will receive a new request link.
