All About Legacy Plans

Written by Archive AI

πŸ“‹ For legacy subscribers only. This article describes plans that are no longer sold to new customers. For current plans (Startup, Growth, Enterprise, Agency), visit archive.com/pricing or your Plans and Billing section.

⚠️ Caution: Archive's current pricing model (2026) is credit-based with three core plans: Startup, Growth, and Enterprise. The plans below β€” described in terms of Social Profile or content count β€” are the previous generation. If the plan name on your Subscription and Billing page doesn't contain the word "Legacy", this article does not apply to you.

How to Check Which Legacy Plan You're On

  1. Open Settings from the left sidebar.

  2. Go to Subscription and Billing.

  3. Look at the plan name listed there. The wording tells you which version you're on (see below).

Legacy Pricing Versions

There are two legacy pricing versions, distinguished by how the plan name is written:

V3 β€” plans with "(Legacy)" in parentheses

Examples: Starter (Legacy), Pro (Legacy), Custom (Legacy).

These plans are priced based on the number of Social Profiles tracked in your workspace.

V4 β€” plans with "Legacy" (no parentheses)

Examples: Starter Legacy, Pro Legacy, Custom Legacy.

These plans are priced based on the amount of content (UGC) captured per month, rather than by Social Profile count.

How Legacy Plans Behave at the Limit

V3 β€” Social Profile limit

When you reach the maximum number of Social Profiles included in your plan, Archive continues detecting and saving UGC in real time. To make room for new Social Profiles, content from inactive Social Profiles is hidden from your library.

You can also hide a specific Social Profile manually from your Social Profiles page β€” hiding a profile removes all of their content from your workspace.

V4 β€” Content limit

When you reach your monthly content limit, Archive captures content in the background but hides anything above the limit. For example, on a 60-piece/month plan, the first 60 pieces are visible and the rest stay hidden until your limit resets or you upgrade.

Hidden content is retained for one month. After that, it is permanently deleted.

Upgrading to the Current (2026) Pricing

Legacy plans don't receive new features released on the 2026 plans. If you want access to newer functionality, switch to one of the current plans.

  • To move to a 2026 plan (Startup, Growth, Enterprise, or Agency) β€” contact Sales.

  • To increase capacity on your existing legacy plan (more Social Profiles or more UGC on the same tier) β€” contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).

  • To cancel your subscription β€” contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
