Archive is a platform that helps you collect, organize, and leverage user-generated content from various social media platforms Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. As your content library grows, you may need to manage your assets by removing outdated or unnecessary content.
This article covers how to remove content from your library — one asset at a time, in batches, or all at once.
Method 1: Delete Individual Assets
If you need to remove just one asset at a time:
Locate the asset you want to delete in your library
Click on the [...] menu (three dots) for that asset
Select Delete from library
Method 2: Batch Delete Multiple Assets
To remove several assets simultaneously:
Hover over an asset and click the checkbox in the top left corner
Continue selecting all assets you wish to remove
As soon as you're ready with your selection, click on the trash icon to delete all content
Click on Delete to confirm the deletion
Method 3: Delete All Content Using Select All
Note: Please make sure to double check everything before you delete all content.
Hover over an asset and click the checkbox in the top left corner
Click on the Select all checkbox found at the bottom of your screen
Click on the trash icon to delete all content
Click on Delete to confirm the deletion
💡 Changed your mind? Right after you delete, the item stays greyed out on the page with an Unhide option. While it's still showing — before you refresh or leave the page — click Unhide to reverse the deletion and keep the content. This works for bulk deletes too. Once you refresh or navigate away, the deletion is final, and you'll need the recovery options below.
Recovering Accidentally Deleted Content
If you accidentally deleted content, there are two ways to recover it:
Contact Archive Support. Contact us via email at [email protected] or chat with our team and the team will recover the content for you.
Re-add the content via UGC Link. If you have the original post URL, you can add it back directly using the UGC Link upload feature. Paste the link and Archive will automatically pull the content back into your library — no support request needed.
📋 Note: Instagram Stories expire after 24 hours on Instagram's side, so a Story link will only work if the Story is still active. If the Story has already expired, contact us via email at [email protected] or chat with our team instead.
Reminder
Deleting content will not reduce your UGC usage for the current month. Once content has been pulled by Archive, it counts toward your UGC total, regardless of whether it's later deleted.
