If you're experiencing issues with Archive detecting your Instagram content, you may need to check and update your Facebook Business Integration settings. This ensures Archive has all the necessary permissions to collect and organize your content properly.

How to Access and Update Your Settings

Follow these steps to verify and enable all required permissions for Archive:

  1. Log in to Facebook using the same account you used to connect your Instagram account to Archive.

  2. Navigate to Settings on your Facebook account.

  3. Scroll down to Business Integrations in the settings menu.

  4. Find the Archive App in your list of business integrations.

  5. Click on "View and Edit" to see the current permissions.

  6. Enable all required permissions.

  7. Click Save to apply the new settings.

Required Permissions

Make sure all of the following permissions are enabled for Archive to function correctly:

  • Manage Your Business - This allows Archive to access your business settings.

  • Access Profile and Posts from Selected Instagram Account - Enables Archive to collect posts from your Instagram account.

  • Manage Comments for the Selected Instagram Account - Allows Archive to access comments on your Instagram content.

  • Manage and Access Messages for the Instagram Account - Enables Archive to track direct messages and engagement.

  • Read Content Posted on the Page - Allows Archive to view content from your Facebook Page.

  • Manage Account Settings and Webhooks - Enables Archive to receive real-time updates about new content.

  • Access Content Enforcing Data for a Page - Allows Archive to access content moderation data.

  • Show a List of the Pages You Manage - Enables Archive to see which Facebook Pages you have access to.

Additional Settings

  • Sending You Notifications - Set this to "Yes" so Archive can keep you informed about important updates.

  • Who Can See You Use This Business Integration - This can be set to "Only Me" if you prefer to keep your use of Archive private.

Why These Permissions Matter

Archive needs these permissions to automatically detect and collect user-generated content that mentions your brand across Instagram and Facebook. Without proper permissions enabled, Archive may miss important content like Stories, comments, or posts that feature your products.
