When working with influencer data in our platform, it's important to understand how we track and count creators and their social profiles differently. This distinction is crucial for accurate campaign management and reporting, ensuring you have the right metrics for your needs.

What are Creators?

  • Represents social media influencers who may have multiple social accounts

  • Always counted as one person, regardless of how many social accounts they have

  • Used for tracking campaigns and managing influencer relationships

What are Social Profiles?

  • Represents individual social media accounts

  • Counted separately for each platform (e.g., if one person has TikTok and Instagram, they count as two social profiles)

  • Used specifically for reporting and analytics purposes

For example: If an influencer named Sarah has both Instagram and TikTok accounts:

  • As a Creator: Sarah = 1 creator

  • As Social Profiles: Sarah = 2 social profiles (Instagram + TikTok)
