The Usage Rights Payout feature allows you to compensate Social Profiles captured by Archive in exchange for permission to use their content. Offering rewards is an effective strategy to increase the amount of approval rate for any content your brand asks for usage rights.

How to Request Usage Rights with Payment:

  1. Find and select the specific content you wish to obtain usage rights for

  2. Click on "Looking for usage rights?" to begin the process

  3. Enable the "Offer a Reward" option and specify your payment amount

  4. Complete the required details about your brand and click Continue

    • Note: After clicking Continue, you'll return to the previous step to finalize the payout

    • This step is automatically skipped if you've previously entered this information

  5. Review your message and payment amount, then click "Pay $xxx and Send Usage Rights Request" (only applicable for content posted within 24 hours)

  6. If you are requesting rights for content posted after the 24-hour mark, you'll have to click on "Pay $xxx," click on "Copy message and link," then click on "Go to @mentiontag"

  7. Your request will be sent to the creator for review and approval if you have asked for usage rights within 24 hours of posting. If not, you'll have to send the message and link to the create through the respective platform they posted the content to

Notes:

  • There's an additional 10% processing fee for each request.

  • The lowest reward amount is $5, and the highest reward amount is $500.

  • We'll pay the Social Profile as soon as they approve your Usage Rights request. If they decline or don't respond within 7 days, we'll refund you.

  • You can't change the amount you have initially added when sending the offer. So please ensure that you double check before you ask usage rights.
