To detect content from your Instagram brand mentions, you must connect Archive with your Instagram account and Facebook page through Facebook login. This integration enables Archive to collect and organize your branded content automatically.
The Connect with Instagram option shows exactly what Archive is linking to. This method is particularly helpful when you can't connect through the standard Connect with Facebook process, as it helps identify any missing permissions for specific pages when granting Archive access.
Requirements
Before you begin, ensure you have:
An active Facebook account with admin access to your business's Facebook Page.
The credentials for the associated Instagram Professional Account.
Admin permissions for both accounts.

The first time you try this, we will show the same options as the Instagram Method does. If you try again, it will just reuse the assets you previously selected. If you have trouble connecting your Instagram account, we strongly recommend trying the previous method.
Navigate to your settings page within your Archive app to access your account configuration options.
Click on Add Source to start the process of connecting a new social media platform.
Select the Instagram Account from the list of available social media sources.
Choose Connect with Facebook to establish the connection through your Facebook account.
If you have existing accounts connected to Archive, you may see a notification message. Simply click on Got it, let's continue to proceed with the setup.
For returning users, click on Edit Previous settings to modify existing connections, or click on Connect if this is your first time setting up Instagram integration.
To connect all your pages and Instagram accounts, select Opt in to all current and future Pages. For selective connection, choose Opt in to current Pages only and manually select the specific Facebook page linked to your Instagram account, then click Continue.
Select the business account that serves as the connection point between your Facebook page and Instagram account.
Choose your desired Instagram account from the available options, ensuring it matches the Facebook page and business account selected in previous steps.
Carefully review all selected details to confirm accuracy, then click on Save to finalize your configuration.
Click on Got it to complete the connection process and begin content collection.
Note: For both methods, once you are redirected to Archive after the connection process, you shouldn't see a notification banner at the top right of your screen. If you see this, it means there are missed requirements for connecting. Visit this article to see all the requirements needed before connecting your Instagram account to Archive.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter connection issues:
Ensure you're using a Facebook account with admin access to the business page
Verify your Instagram account is set to Professional (Business or Creator)
Check that your Instagram account is properly linked to your Facebook Page
Try logging out of Facebook completely and starting the process again
Once connected, Archive will begin detecting and collecting content that mentions your brand on Instagram.
Disconnection Reasons
Just in case your account gets disconnected, it is related to one of the reasons below:
Password Changes: If the user changes their Instagram or connected Facebook password, third-party access is often revoked for security.
Expired Access Tokens: Instagram grants access via tokens that expire after a certain period or due to inactivity.
Permissions Removed: The user may have manually removed the app’s permissions in Instagram or Facebook settings.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enabling 2FA can sometimes reset or block existing third-party connections.
Account Ownership Changes: If the Instagram account is transferred to another Business Manager or changes admins, access can be disrupted.
Platform Bugs or API Updates: Occasionally, Instagram or Facebook API changes cause disconnections.
Linked Facebook Page Issues: For business accounts, if the connected Facebook Page is deleted, unpublished, or loses admin access, it can cause the Instagram connection to fail.
