Archive's Post Summaries feature uses AI to automatically generate concise descriptions of your user-generated content. Instead of watching every video or reviewing each post manually, you can read a quick summary to understand what the content is about.

How Post Summaries Work

Post Summaries appear as a Magic Field labeled "Post Summary" in the side section of your UGC modal. When you open any piece of content, you'll see an AI-generated summary of up to 200 words that captures the key information from the post.

Summaries are generated automatically the same day posts are pulled into Archive. You don't need to do anything to trigger them.

What Post Summaries Include:

  • The post type and format (Reel, Story, TikTok video, carousel, etc.)

  • Main actions and scenes in the content

  • Brand mentions, product details, and any promotional content

  • Key information from captions and video transcripts

  • Relevant hashtags and campaign tags

Supported Content Types

Post Summaries work across all your content:

  • Videos (including Reels and TikToks)

  • Images and static photos

  • Stories

  • Carousels

The feature supports content from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Accessing Post Summaries

  1. Open the UGC modal for any piece of content in your Archive

  2. Look in the side section for the Magic Field labeled "Post Summary"

  3. Select and copy the summary text if you need to use it elsewhere

Providing Feedback

You can help improve Post Summaries by clicking the "?" beside "Post Summary" and then using the thumbs-up or thumbs-down buttons available next to each summary. This feedback helps Archive refine the quality of future summaries.

Availability

Post Summaries are included with all Standard plans at no additional cost. If you're on a Standard plan, you'll see summaries automatically generated for your content.

Good to Know:

  • Summaries are generated automatically and cannot be edited or regenerated

  • You cannot currently filter or search posts by their summary content

  • If you notice a summary wasn't generated for a piece of content, please contact our support team
