Sometimes you need to temporarily remove content from specific social profiles without fully disconnecting them. Archive's hide feature lets you do exactly that while keeping everything running in the background.
What Happens When You Hide a Social Profile
When you hide a social profile in Archive, here's what changes:
Content Visibility: All content from that hidden social profile will be removed from your workspace. You won't see their posts, stories, or any other content in your feeds, galleries, or content library. It's like hitting pause on that profile's visibility.
Content Collection Continues: Even though the profile is hidden, Archive keeps working behind the scenes. We'll still capture and save all their content automatically. Nothing gets missed or lost during this time.
Unhiding Restores Everything: When you're ready to see that content again, simply unhide the social profile. All the content we collected while it was hidden will appear in your workspace immediately.
Notifications Still Work: Here's an important detail: Slack notifications will still trigger for hidden social profiles. If you have notifications set up, you'll continue to receive them even when the profile is hidden from your workspace.
When to Use the Hide Feature
Hiding social profiles is useful when you want to:
Temporarily declutter your workspace without losing content
Focus on specific profiles for a campaign or project
Keep collecting content from someone while removing their visibility
Manage seasonal or inactive accounts
