As a creator, you can generate a unique code to share with an advertiser to allow them to boost your content, including archived content, into partnership ads that feature both of your accounts in the header.
How Archive fits in
Archive helps you organize the content and share the request to the creator. The creator generates the partnership ad code in Instagram (or Facebook) and shares it with the advertiser. The advertiser then uses that code in their Meta Ads Manager to launch the partnership ad β Archive does not launch the ad itself.
Note: A partnership ad run with a non-advertiser partner who does not have a Facebook page can still appear on Facebook with the non-advertiser partner's Instagram name, profile picture, and other details.
Code should look like this: adcode-Q9jTBAszS_V4g7SmMZlpUpRDGcsXsGgzOEyCy9Fgs97-w9pst36uCxNjr2KU7YroHDo
How Partnership Ad Codes Work for Creators
Allow partners to run ads with you. Sharing an ad code allows your partner to boost content, including archived content and hidden Collab posts, as a partnership ad. Ad codes can be used by up to 2 partners at a time.
Doesn't display as an ad on your profile. While the organic content will appear on your profile unless you archive it, the partnership ad itself won't be visible on your profile.
The ad will be listed in the Ad Library. The Ad Library is Meta's comprehensive hub for ads transparency and shows all active and public branded content that's running on Instagram and Facebook.
Before You Begin
You must have a professional account on Instagram.
You must meet eligibility requirements for Instagram partnership ads and branded content.
Your content must be in an eligible format for partnership ads. Note: If you turn on the Get partnership ad code toggle or Allow brand partner to boost toggle (for branded content) during content creation on Instagram, you'll see a screen if your content is ineligible to be used as a partnership ad.
